One of the unique aspects of the process and creation of this CD is that much of it was created in a collaboration via the internet. Most of the tracks were recorded in the respective musicians' home studios and then sent back and forth. Diehl recorded the initial vocal and guitar tracks at his home studio and sent the tracks to drummer and bass player James Robinson (JDrums) in Los Angeles. Tracks were then sent to Ian Cameron in Vancouver, Canada, who added violin and mandolin tracks. Morris Acevedo, owner of the New England Guitar Workshop (www.negw.org) provided guitar, keyboards and organ from the Boston area and John Christensen of Madison, WI added bass. Back in Pennsylvania at Frigo Recording studios (www.frigorecording.com), Diehl met with saxophonist Rick Hirsch and mandolin player and guitarist Tom Buckmiller. Recording Engineer Marc Frigo, who has worked with artists such as the The Indigo Girls, Patty Loveless, Jewel, Israel, Erin O'Donnell, Nicole C. Mullen, The Borrowers, Letters to Cleo, and many othersis currently working with Will on the final touches for the upcoming release.

Will provided the music for an OXFAM America short film that deals with the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
The film was funded by OXFAM America and was directed by George Giglio and Steve Liss and narrated by Danny Glover. The film is entitled "Forgotten Communities - Unmet Promises" and was shown in Gulfport, Mississippi. Actor/Activist Danny Glover and Raymond C. Offenhesier, president of Oxfam America, were among the featured panelists at a town hall meeting convened in Gulfport, Mississippi, where the film was premiered. Oxfam America and the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) convened the meeting, which drew more than 450 participants. Steve Liss (www.steveliss.com) is a Time magazine photographer and his photos have appeared on the cover forty times over the years. Steve took moving photos in Mississippi and conducted candid interviews recently in the areas that were hit by Katrina. Will provided a solo piano tune entitled "Katrina" that is on his Impermanent Blue CD. "Crossing Over" - from the CD "Dream #2" was used... and Will also recorded a version of "America The Beautiful" (lyrics by Katherine Lee Bates and music by Samuel Ward).

The base of this CD is made up of recordings of the surf and beach sounds of Makena Beach on Maui, Hawaii - with an instrumental layer perfect for relaxing, meditation, yoga or falling to sleep. Eight tracks - some with music and beach, music only, and beach only.
